I was playing about with long exposures this evening. It is really hard to focus and aim well in the dark. But I did discover that the stars are all different colours. This is #31 of 52 Blessings, I am grateful for living under the Southern Cross.

Day 182 – July 30

Not a great day for taking pictures today, spent 6 hours straight in tutes this afternoon and it was dark when I came out, so I took a few shots at home of bits and pieces. I saw this in the display cabinet and it is really the only time of year I can photograph it so here we go.

And this is my cheating at the photo of self.

I was lacking inspiration alright.

Cuddly Bears & Friends

This is half of the cuddly bears who managed to show yesterday, in the cold.

It was actually not too cold once in the water and after playing but getting into the pool was.

These are the latest updates to my wall, I put these up last week.

This was me on the couch today, nothing exciting although my eyes look the wrong colour.

My Weekend – Go the Wallabies

I have had a good weekend, it has had a nice balance between relaxing and doing stuff. So here are the pictures, there is one for each of the things I’ve done this weekend, well except lounging around the house, and cleaning.

Happy Birthday Tim

I went up to the Gold Coast for lunch today. It wasn’t a beautiful day, but I had a nice time with mum.

I took a bunch of misc shots, so there is an extra. I am not 100% sure what this turtle is for but it is all good.

Uni in the Rain

It was deserted at uni after my lecture today. It was drizzling and wet all day, and it appeared that no one wanted to study in that weather.

Kate, Jess and I braved the rain though, and not only went to our lecture but also to the book shop.

Stepping Out

I went out to a free movie last night, I saw a preview of “Wanted”. It was a pretty good movie, very intense. Tash decided that I wasn’t dressed up enough when going, so she dressed me from her wardrobe. Eventually she let me out of the house looking like this.

I wasn’t organised enough to eat before I went, so I ended up with Hungrys on the way home.
