One Week in New Zealand

I am away in New Zealand currently and haven’t been getting a real chance to come online… So I am just going to dump the photos up for you all to see and will come back and edit and explain later…

The second photo is part of 52 blessings, I am grateful that after all of my trips dropping people at the airport I finally got to go somewhere myself.

Packing

I actually packed this evening..

It is really strange for me to be packed this early but I have and it is all done.

Well apart from the stuff that I have to use before I leave…And the handbag goes into the green bag to carry on.

Hard to believe that I am actually going tomorrow…

Btw… For those who don’t know I will be in New Zealand for the next three weeks! YAY!!! Very exciting!

No More Car

I sold Lucinda today…. It is a good thing overall but a pity that the better car got sold and the others remain, but atleast we won’t be paying heaps of money on nothing any more.

Ben took this for me as I was leaving to go to Queensland Transport, it was the last drive I had in Lucinda.

The next two are the new owners driving away in her.

Notice the number plate has changed, but not by much :-P by a total coincidence the buyer had personalised plates almost the same as the ones that came off.

Bulk Uploads

So today we completed the first bulk upload, VERY exciting got atleast 2 days work done in just over 3 hours. This only problem with the new functionality coming out today, I have had to learn it well enough today to teach to others and make sure that when I go away, everyone else will cope with it. :) Which means lots of learning and explaining.

Needless to say, there was not much thought to photos during the day.

I did get three postcards though, so I took a photo :)

Waterpolo in Winter

Some people would feel that the idea of swimming late on a Monday night in winter is silly, and there are times that I would agree. But this week I really really loved getting in the pool and having a game.  :)

This was the game before us, I was going to take pics when I was on the bench but we didn’t have any extra players so this is the best I have.

I also had dinner with Belle, before I went in, so she took this one for me.

I like this photo, although I don’t look like myself in it.

The Weekend…

I have barely been home all weekend, something new an different from normal. Yesterday I spent driving to Murrarie and uni. This is was a semester at uni looks like…

This is all of my uni notes bound for the semester, its a lot of paper.

Ever wondered how much grass stains?

Mum mowed the lawn while Bella was running about, she ended up with green gumboots.

Also went out to dinner, and came home to sit with everyone on the couch.

I mean everyone. The only living member of our household not on the couch was Oinkie, it was too scary for her.

Today I spent the morning taking more Krav Maga photos, I liked this one, because it looks like they are doing the chicken dance. :-)

It is actually showing how to defend a choke from behind.

This one is the actual photo of the day, it was a random sticker I found in the grass and thought it was kinda cool/random.

Went and watched Bre play hockey after Krav and was going to take my photo of me there, but that didn’t happen so I took this just then.

No more Uni

So today was my last piece of assessment at uni, it was a Presentation about another of my assignments and it was actually not too hard.. Everyone appeared to put in a fair bit of effort, some to the extremes…

I didn’t get to see the actual presentation for this one but she had made a shirt! It was very cool!

This is #24 of 52 Blessings, I am grateful that I have completed another semester of uni! And that as far as I know I have done quite well. :)

Congrats Queensland

I have spent pretty much all of the last two days either working or doing assignments. Except to watch the Origin, sleep and cleaning the car for sale.

This was me trying to get the Golden Mean out of the drawer handle.

And today….

Took this while cleaning the car, was going to take a photo of the whole car, but it was dark by the time I had finished.

Krav with the Big Boys

Last night there was another Krav Maga workshop, this time Eyal was there, it was a great night, even just watching and taking photos.

There were people there with all levels of experience and enthusiasm, almost 100 of them.

This one is my favourite shot of the night. :)

This was during the warm-up, they were pretending to swim in the Dead Sea.

Teaching by example.

And the instructors.

Only 1 Assignment left

I finished and submitted my 2nd last assignment today, it wasn’t actually due until tomorrow but I REALLY wanted it over and done with. I also got back another assignment and did better then expect on it so I am feeling pretty good tonight, just trying not to think about the last piece.

Because today was the Queen’s Birthday Public Holiday today’s picture includes the Queen.

And of me, well that is really exciting.

I bought this shirt when I was in America, it is great. I love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups! Might need to buy some next time I am at Chermside.
