Three Months Down – March Review

So I am a quarter of the way through. I don’t believe that it is April tomorrow, scary stuff. So here you go, 31 things that happened this month.

March Review

And 31 parts of me.

March Review Self Portrait

Back at Uni

So the mid-semester break is over and I have another 9weeks before exam block and more holidays. I have a two hour break on a Monday and today was the first time I have done anything useful in that time. See how productive I was being.

Kat Studying

This chair I was sitting on was the wrong height for the table and it was actually quite uncomfortable to sit there.

The second photo is just the sun coming through on the ground near where I was sitting.

Stripes and Lights

I like the balance in this photo, it also appears that I have a bit of a thing for repetition at the moment. I keep seeing things that repeat and really like them.

Puppies Play

I was meant to be studying today, as I have done very little to nothing this holiday for uni, but it didn’t quite work out that way. Instead Tash and I took Sam and Bella to the Beach.

Bella and Sam

This was after they had stopped running themselves, we threw the ball for Sam and Bella decided it might be okay to follow some time after.

Kat and Running Puppies

The other way to make them run, you run first. This was coming back, they weren’t too enthused by me running and they all had a reasonably big head start on me. This is 13of 52 Blessings, I am grateful that I am healthy and able to run around with the puppies!

I’m going to go and study now, I swear.

More Airports and Earth Hour

Had to go to the airport again today, only the Domestic this time.

Domestic

I was collecting mum from a flight from Newcastle, this is where we wait, next to Europcar. Because I was in front of the crossing I ended up sitting backwards on the passenger side while waiting.

Sitting Backwards

It was also Earth Hour last night, we had dinner out and got home at 7.55 so we didn’t have any real plans. We ended up playing “Picture This” in the dark. Turns out that candles don’t make playing board games easy. Especially ones where you need to show everyone a picture so that they can answer a question about the person/object pictured.

It was a long day

Yesterday started at 5.30 with a drive to the airport in the rain. One good thing going to the airport that early, there is no traffic, but that is pretty much the only benefit! I spent 1.5hours in the International Terminal before heading home, alone for the first time in a week.

Immigration Leaving

When home it was time for study :( or more correctly procrastination, and an injection.

I did injection site

Then had a waterpolo breakup at Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant, there was lots of drinks and it was a very good night. Unfortunately I couldn’t partake in the drinks (I was driving) but I had a good time anyway, I think I need to do stuff with the people there more often.

March 27th

Had a real quiet day today, didn’t really find much to take a photo of. This was the best I got :( it was a really cool looking spider but it was very camera shy, and keep running away. Maybe another day I will see another one like it and will be able to get a reasonable shot.

And this is me while playing with photos for the blog.

Wet’n'Wild Wednesday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIM!
Hope it was a good one.

I went to Wet’n'Wild today. I hadn’t been there is ages and I am pretty sure it has doubled in size since then. It was a really nice day, was a bit hot around lunch time but the sun was out and there wasn’t much wind. My new favourite ride there is “The Tornado” it is a big funnel thing, and is lots of fun. I was going to take pictures throughout the day with Tash’s waterproof camera but unfortunately it was not charged and went dead. So the best photo I got was of the clock tower as we were leaving.

Wet’n

The sun had been hidden by some large brewing thunderstorms, which followed us all the way home.

Lounging on Bree’s Couch

Had dinner at Bree’s before coming home. And watched some TV.

Tuesday

This is what happens when you leave me by myself to study.

Crossword

I don’t much like study, puzzles are much more fun, this is one of two that I did today. I was procrastinating, and these took up some time.

Fruit Tingle

I also went to Sam’s for dinner and had a Fruit Tingle, we walked down so we could have a drink. It was good, I enjoyed it.

Monday, March 24

Choc Mint Slice

Went into town today, and got some Choc Mint Slice! YUM! This is not the reason why I was in there but got very excited when I remembered this slice. It is sooo good! It is the best on that I have found in Brisbane in a long time. I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the  Myer Centre.

I also took some photos on the ferry but they weren’t nice, so this is what you get of me.

Easter Sunday 2008

It is now almost 9pm on Easter Sunday and I have managed to only eat one bit of chocolate! I went up the coast today, and saw an elephant in the sky!

Elephant Cloud

I know it doesn’t really look like an elephant in the photo (I can still see it though) but the cloud at the top was definitely an elephant.  Because it doesn’t look as good in the photo this one is just an extra.  This is the real one, it is a fountain in one of the malls along Mooloolaba Beach.

Whale Fountain

I would love a feature wall in the same colour as the background!
